With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, those looking for love in places other than a significant other may be interested in reading a newly released fantasy love story written by Chilton County author Angela Hayes.

Angela is a married, mother of two who enjoys “bringing characters to life by computer, and yarn to life with needle and hook,” she said.

She has been writing for more than two years.

Angela’s first book, “Love’s Battle,” was published two years ago; it is a full-length novel.

“The best part about writing to me is having this story in your head constantly and really being able to get it out of your head and onto paper; finally getting something out there that people can read,” Hayes said.

Angela’s most recent book, “Got Love?” was released on Feb. 3.

“Got Love?” is part of a series called “A Candy Hearts Romance,” which is based on the sayings from the famous Valentine’s Day candy hearts.

The book consists of 79 pages filled with fairies, romance and comedy.

“When my publisher sent out the idea, we had to reserve our title immediately,” Hayes said. “Once we had our title, we had to plan our book around that, so that was different.”

“’A Candy Hearts Romance’ is written by different authors, and it spans the romance genre so there really is something for everyone,” Hayes said.

“Got Love?” is only available as an e-book and can be found online at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, KOBO and Bookstrand.
