A 29-year-old Selma man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday on U.S. Hwy. 82.

David Austin Banks was killed when the 2010 Dodge Charger he was driving collided with a 2005 Peterbilt tractor-trailer at about 12:15 p.m. near the 111-mile marker, according to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Banks was pronounced dead at the scene.

No more information was available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
