Single-vehicle crash on I-65 sends one to hospital
Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Thursday that occurred on Interstate 65 at the 200 Mile Marker in Chilton County.
Sgt. Steve Jarrett with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said a Ford Ranger overturned in the median.
It was unclear how the vehicle overturned, but Jarrett said there was one minor injury, and the individual was transported to UAB.
Traffic in the northbound lanes was detoured off I-65 at Exit 200 for about an hour as authorities worked the scene of the crash.
Shortly after noon on Thursday, Jarrett said all northbound lanes were open.
Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
