Lena Ellison Liveoak

Lena Ellison Liveoak, 92, of the Mineral Springs Community of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 9 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.

She was born in Chilton County on June 17, 1923, the daughter of the late John Ellison and the late Arvie Zena Vanderslice Ellison.

Lena was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlsie Faye (Jack) Pate of Clanton; granddaughter, Cindy (Don) Garrett of Clanton; granddaughter, Sandy Pate of Jemison; great-granddaughters Heather Thomas of Birmingham, Synna (Robert) Luke of Ft. Mitchell, Ashley Garrett of Birmingham, and Shelby Guy of Jemison; great-great-grandson, George Irvin Luke III of Ft. Mitchell; special nieces, Jacque Bolton and Vickie Minor of Clanton; a host of nieces and nephews; step-son, Wayne (Jo) Liveoak of Calera; step-son, Thomas (Louise) Liveoak of Jemison; step-son, Charles Liveoak of Centreville; step-daughter, Fay Price of Thorsby and a host of step- grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
