Wendell Gaskin, 60, of Clanton, born in Dade City, Fla., passed away Sept. 19.

He is survived by his three children, Christina Gaskin Freeman (David) of Clanton, Valerie Contreras (Cesar) of Dade City, Fla. and Wendell Gaskin the second of Clanton; six grandchildren, Jason, Decoda, Devin, Danielle, Ceasar and Thalia; one sister, Brenda Smith and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gwendolyn Gaskin and one great-grandson, Aiden Alexander Freeman.

His services will be in Florida.
