Connie Meador Bannister, 51, of Jemison, died Sept. 16 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on March 8, 1964, in Birmingham, the daughter of the late Thomas Paul Meador and Marie Knight Meador.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Bannister of Jemison; son, Steven Meador of Maplesville; mother, Marie K. Meador of Jemison; brothers, Michael Meador of Indianapolis, Ind., Mark Meador (Leslie) of Birmingham; grandchildren, Summer Duncan and Logan Meador.

Friends will be received from 5-6 p.m. Sept. 23 at Martin Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. at Martin Chapel.
