Timothy Wayne Brown, 46, of Grant, and formerly of Clanton, passed away suddenly on Sept. 3 in Boise, Idaho.

He was born in Clanton on Aug. 13, 1969, the son of Aubrey Brown and Jane Bonham Brown.

He was employed with Griffin Aerospace as a technician and pilot.

He was a former employee of Benchmark Electronics in Huntsville. He also faithfully served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his parents, Aubrey and Jane Brown of Clanton; sister, Linda (Randy) Glasscock of Clanton; sister, Crystal (Steven) Ousley of Deatsville; nephew, Dallas Ousley of Deatsville; aunts and uncles, C.M. and Barbara Stokes of Clanton and J.B. and Peggy Franklin of McCalla; cousins: Byron (Cindy) Franklin, Ryleigh Murphy, Kaitlyn Franklin, Jason Stokes, Sandy Stokes, Amanda (April) Ellison, Brad Barnes, and Tanner Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 9, from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. from Samaria Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Wyatt officiating.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial with military honors will follow in Samaria Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim’s memory to the Samaria Baptist Church Building Fund.
