Billingsley squandered a 14-6 fourth-quarter lead on Friday and fell to Loachapoka, 20-14, in the first region game of the season for both teams.
D.J. Dunnigan rushed 16 times for 137 yards and one touchdown, and quarterback James Woods scored the other touchdown for Billingsley (0-2) on the ground.
But the defense, despite 11 tackles from Isaac Green, allowed the visitors to score 14 points in the fourth quarter for the win.
Loachapoka outgained Billingsley 348 to 156, but the Bears took advantage of two turnovers, while committing none of their own, to build a lead.
