Debra Kay Tate, 56, of Jemison, passed away on Aug. 29. She was born on March 5, 1959. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Carol Collum; sisters, Susan Lunceford and Kathy Collum; brother, Billy Dan Collum; and her daughter, Amber Nicole Tate. Debra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Philip Tate; daughters, Jamie Collins (Lee) and Christie Bice (Craig); grandchildren, Emma Collins and McKinleigh Cleckley; sister, Tammy Plier; brothers, Bobby Collum (Brenda) and Ralph Collum Jr. and numerous other family members. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sept. 2 at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 3 at Rockco Funeral Home with Bro. Book Lovett officiating.
