Bro. Justin started the service with the baptism of Cathy, Emily and Gavin, and Bro. Cleve recognized those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. Several children then gave testimonies about children’s camp.

The Celebration Choir’s special was “This World Is Not My Home.”

Bro. Justin preached from Ephesians 5, 6:1-11 about submission to the Lord and to each other, and also husbands to their wives.

Rocky Mount United Methodist Church

Calling all youth: Rocky Mount has a new additional youth leader, and we are revamping the youth program. We invite everyone to come help us choose the avenue we would like to explore in contemporary worship and Bible study. If you are in the Jemison-Thorsby area, we are close and convenient. If you have questions, please call the church office at 688-2204. Leave a message, and your call will be returned.

We listened to the account of Paul following the scripture reading from Ephesians 3:1-13.

While under house arrest, Paul proclaimed that he was a prisoner of Christ. This takes some thought to comprehend, but we are all given what we need to live abundantly. God wants us to live up to our potential, and his grace is sufficient for all. God’s love is the most powerful thing in this world.
