Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley was recently presented with a basket of Chilton County peaches.

C.J. Robinson, chief deputy district attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit and vice chairman of the Chilton County Republican Party, presented Bentley with the peaches on June 29 at the governor’s office.

The peaches were grown in Chilton County by M&M Farms and purchased by the Chilton County Republican Party at the annual Peach Auction on June 27 to be presented to the governor on behalf of the county’s residents.

“Oh my goodness, these peaches are gorgeous,” Bentley said. “I can’t wait to dig in!”
