James Larry Watts, 66, of Deatsville, passed away on June 28.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1948, in Alabama, the son of the late Will Watts and the late Delene Gray Watts.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

Surviving are his sons, Aubrey Watts (Jennifer) of Deatsville and Bradley Watts (Pattie) of Marbury; grandchildren, Dustyn Watts, Randall Watts and Nicole Watts,Tyler Smitherman; sisters, Eva Jacks (Alan) of White City and Brenda Mims (Oscar) of Clanton; brothers, Charles McDaniel (Becky) of Billingsley Joseph McDaniel (Johnnie) of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Watts; daughter, Milissa Watts;and brother, Jimmy Watts.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. June 30 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held July 1 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Oscar Mims Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley.
