Authorities are investigating an active crime scene near Interstate 65’s Exit 212 ramp.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Clanton Police Department are working the scene, according to a Facebook post from the Clanton Police Department around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has command of the scene, and is investigating the incident, according to the CPD.

Motorists are asked to use Exit 208 or Exit 205.
