The Chilton Baptist Association will sponsor the annual Spring Prayer Walk on April 12.

The community is asked to show support for the students in the county by joining in the prayer walks.

The CBA has sponsored the prayer walk at local schools for more than 15 years as a way for community members to show support of students, their families and staff members.

Those in attendance are encouraged to pray for the safety of each student, the staff at each school, the Chilton County Board of Education and Chilton County Superintendent Tommy Glasscock.

Below is a schedule of times that each school will meet for the prayer walk:

•Clanton Elementary School: After evening service on April 12.

•Clanton Intermediate School: After evening service on April 12.

•Clanton Middle School: After evening service on April 12.

•Chilton County High School: The youth will have a walk, and there will be a walk after the evening service for anyone who wishes to participate.

•LeCroy Career Technical Center had a special prayer time for the schools on March 6.

•Isabella Schools: Each participating church will have a special prayer time for schools during church services on April 12.

•Jemison Elementary School: Time to be announced.

•Jemison Middle and Jemison High schools: Time to be announced.

•Maplesville schools, April 12: Time to be announced.

•Verbena schools, April 12: Time to be announced.

•Thorsby schools, April 12: Time to be announced.
