Several restaurants in Chilton County are participating in a “Giveback” campaign throughout April to help raise money for Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center.
“April is Child Abuse Awareness month and during the month we encourage community members and businesses to do small things that can make a big difference year-round,” said Jana Zuelzke, executive director/child forensic interview specialist with Butterfly Bridge. “The community can help through small acts that help protect children, strengthen families, promote traits that help protect families, and ultimately help promote awareness that abuse and neglect of children is occurring in our community. The funds raised through these partnerships will help Butterfly Bridge continue to provide services to child victims of abuse in our county throughout the remainder of the year. It also gives individual community members a way to give back while enjoying a meal with their family, friends, and co-workers when they eat at the restaurants on the designated days.”
The campaign invites members of the community to visit participating restaurants who will give back a portion of their sales at the restaurant to Butterfly Bridge.
