The 2015 Peach Festival T-Shirts are available at local businesses beginning this week.

The shirts will be on sale at Peach Park, Todd’s Produce, MorLyn’s Fine Jewelry and Gifts, Hayes Drug, Buck’s Clothing and Country Financial-Shane Headley’s Office.

Shirts are $12 each and come in adult and children’s sizes as well as 2x/3x sizes for $13. Colors available are coral silk, corn silk, iris and white.

Peach Pageant applications are also available at all Chilton County schools, The Clanton Advertiser, Chilton County News, Brenda’s Formal Wear, Frou Frou Frocks and MorLyn’s.

Registration for the pageant is May 3 from 1-3 p.m. at Clanton First United Methodist Church in the activity building. Contestants must bring four wallet size pictures (head and shoulder only of the same pose) which will become the property of the Clanton Lions Club, a contestant contract (completed and signed by contestant and parent. Contestants are encouraged to read the contract closely), a contestant fact sheet completed and typed or printed neatly), a legal copy of the contestant’s birth certificate and a sponsor/entry fee ($75). Contestants must be residents of Chilton County for at least one year preceding the date of the pageant they enter.

Those who do not have all necessary materials ready to turn in by 3 p.m. on May 3 at orientation will not be considered registered for the 2015 Peach Pageant.

The Little Miss Peach Pageant will be held June 20 at 6:30 p.m.; Young Miss Peach, June 22 at 6:30 p.m.; Junior Miss Peach, June 23 at 6:30 p.m.; and Miss Peach, June 25 at 6:30 p.m.
