Clanton Elementary School hosted a Valentine’s Day gift fundraiser.

Items for sale included soda creatures, single roses, candy parfaits and snack bouquets.

Students at Clanton Elementary School, Clanton Intermediate School, Clanton Middle School and Chilton County High School had the opportunity to order a gift earlier this month.

There were more than a thousand items sold in advance with the deliveries made at a later date. Several volunteers helped with preparations of the gifts. Some of the volunteers included Darra Smitherman, Brittany Kent, Peggie Harris, Shirley Brown, Linda Hand, Dana Traywick, Willene Glass, Myra Davis, Bo Blankenship, Barbara Schultz, Adrey Street, Julia Culpepper, Geraldine Sorrell and Terry Daniels.
