Julius Edwards Jr., 82, of Clanton, passed away Feb. 2.

He was born on Feb. 7, 1932, in Chilton County, the son of the late Julius Andrew Edwards and the late Lillian G. Burnette Edwards.

He was a farmer.

Surviving are sons, Brian Keith Edwards of Clanton, Ralph (Tammy) Edwards of Clanton, granddaughters, Hailey Renae (Angelo) Thompson of Trussville, grandsons, Ralph Allen Edwards, Jr. of Randolph, Julius Blake Edwards of Clanton,; great-grandson, Kylan Kross Lanier of Trussville; grandson, Larry Wayne (Vanessa) Owens of Clanton; granddaughter, Christy Owens (Maverick) Hayes of Texas; great-grandchildren, Brittney Chapman (Stephen) Shaw of Florida, Brandon Chapman, Tyler Owens, Alexis Owens, Taylor Owens, Payton Owens; great-great-grandchild, Abigail Grace Shaw; great-great-grandchild, Reagan Owens; brother, Billy Frank Edwards; sisters, Frances Cox and Charlotte Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius A. and Lillian Edwards and sister, Elizabeth Cleckler.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Feb. 4, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Roe officiating.

Interment will follow in New Cedron, Billingsley.
