Betty Lou Gore (Warren) died peacefully at St. Francis Hospital on Dec. 23 in Colum-bus, Ga., at the age of 76.

Betty Lou Gore is survived by her two brothers, Jim Warren of Hueytown and Bill Warren of Birmingham; two sons, Jimmy Michael Gore and Terry and (Michele) Gore of Columbus, Ga.; and one grandson, Jimmy Norman Gore. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy W. Gore.

A burial is scheduled for Jan. 10 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Clanton at 11:30 a.m., with a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Jan. 8 at Mt. Zion Church in Columbus. Dr. Tom Neville will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gore’s life.
