Bobby Frank Martin

Bobby Frank Martin, 87, of Verbena, passed away on Dec. 11 at his residence.

He was born in Sedalia, Mo. on Dec. 2, 1927, the son of the late Emmett Clarence Martin and the late Ruby Ester Weaver Martin.

He was a former installer with Robert Henry Tile Company.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Ellen Martin of Verbena; daughters, Lana (Richard) Dykes of Tallahassee, Fla., Marlie (Mike) Cleckler of Clanton, Tammy (Jason) Griffen of Clanton, Vanessa (Bill) Davis of Hope Hull, and Jo Ann (Greg) Chandler of Verbena; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Martin of Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Ruby Martin; grandson, Heath Cleckler; five brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Dec. 12, from 5-8 p.m. at Zion Ridge Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. from Zion Ridge Church of God with the Rev. Michael J. Cleckler officiating.

Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
