The Pride of Chilton County Marching Band was part of the Clanton Christmas parade on Dec. 5. The parade also featured Santa Claus and grand marshal Brenda Ladun of ABC 33/40. The parade was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chilton County.

- Old Macedonia Baptist Church won first place, and a $150 prize, in the parade float contest.

- Miss Relay For Life Queens won second place and a $100 prize.

- Jefferson State Community College won third place and a $50 prize.
