Tommie Caton Bigbie, 72, of Millbrook, passed away Nov. 17.
She was born Jan. 16, 1942, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Sim T. Caton and the late Etta Knight Caton.
She was a pet care specialist.
Surviving are her husband, Johnny Mack Bigbie of Millbrook,; sons, Danny Ray (Pamela) Short of Marbury, Sandy Eric Short of Prattville, Jamie Short of Prattville; step-son, Johnny Nathan Bigbie of Reading, Pa.; step-daughter, Sara Jane LeGault of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Amy Hernandez, Nevada Short, Danielle Vant-hof, Heath Short, Jasmin Short, Clay Brady LeGault; step-granddaughter Savannah Bigbie; four great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Esmer Caton; sisters, Catherin (Charlie) Milbrodt, Mary Etta Dedman and Teresa (Pete) Peters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sim and Etta Caton and daughter, Edwina Short. Special thank you to hospice and all caregivers.
Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Nov. 22, at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating.
Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist in Clanton.
