The Verbena Red Devils posted an impressive 70-8 win against the Jacksonville Christian Thunder on Friday.

The Red Devils accumulated a total of 454 yards rushing and 50 yards passing.

Dorrian Parker had seven carries for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

Quandarius Ray had 15 tackles, two sacks and a touchdown.

Garrett Deavers had 8 solo tackles and 9 assists.

Stephen Wright had 85 yards on six carries and one touchdown.

Hakeem Underwood had 75 yards on seven carries and two touchdowns.

Jemison falls to Park Crossing

The Jemison Panthers lost to the Park Crossing Thunderbirds, 54-0, in a non-region game Friday.

Panthers quarterback Phillip Lenoir had 18 attempts and four completions for 52 yards and three interceptions.

Eric Evans rushed the ball 16 times for 63 yards.

Shawn Poe rushed the ball 16 times for 43 yards.

Kevin Nunn caught all four passes from Lenoir for 52 yards.

Poe had nine tackles, two for a loss and two assists.

P.J. Blue had 106 yards of kickoff returns, one of which was for 65 yards.
