Outdoor Market to open after fundraiser

Once the fundraiser is over, the Wyatts will turn their attention to starting their new business.

Work has been ongoing at the 3.6-acre site since mid-July.

A house was cleared off the property, and now there is covered space and open space for vendors, concession and restroom facilities and parking for about 150 customers.

There are more than 100 vendor spaces, with 36 in a covered area complete with display counters and fans.

The market will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from daylight until 3 p.m. “The Barn,” where customers and vendors alike will be able to purchase food and drinks, will operate during the same hours.

Items served could include coffee, biscuits, hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches.

Corner booths for vendors in the covered area will cost $14 per day, while the interior booths will be $12 per day.

Vendors who want to park under the trees will pay $8 per day.

Vendors who book 30 days in advance will receive a 10-percent discount.

Wyatt said customers can expect most of the vendors to be local but some from as far as 75 miles away.
