The Chilton County YMCA Gymnastics Team competed in the Fliptanic Invitational over the weekend in Tuscaloosa, with the Level 2 team placing second overall.

Individual results were as follows:

•Ella Price (Sr. A): Third on beam, third on bars, fourth on floor and third all-around.

•Belle Richardson (Sr. A): First on floor, first on beam, second on vault and fourth all-around.

•Madison Thornton (Sr. A): Third on beam, eighth on vault, eighth on floor and eighth all-around.

•Campbell Easterling (Jr. B): First on beam, second on bars, fourth on floor and first all-around.

•Vella Collum (Jr. A): First on vault, first on beam, first on floor and first all-around.

•Alyvia Stillwell (Sr. B): Second on vault, fourth on beam, fifth on bar and fourth all-around.

•Sadie James (Sr. B): Second on beam, sixth on vault, seventh on beam and eighth all-around.

•Rachael Glasscock (Jr. B): First on vault, second on beam, fifth on floor and sixth all-around.

•Claire Parker (Sr. A): First on vault, first on floor, third on beam and first all-around.

The team’s previous meet was at Spain Park on Sept. 14, and they won first place.

The team will travel to Mountain Brook on Friday for the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Meet.” They will also compete at Disney Wide World of Sports in the Presidential Classic Meet on Feb. 11-16.
