One person was injured during a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 65 northbound in Jemison.

The crash occurred at 4:40 p.m. on I-65 northbound at the 219-mile marker, according to Alabama Department of Public Safety Public Information/Education Unit Sgt. Kevin Cook said.

Perez Henderson, 18, of Daleville, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet when his vehicle crashed.

Cook said Henderson was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, but did not indicate the severity of the injuries.

Cook said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
