The Billingsley Bears dominated the Notasulga Blue Devils Friday night by a score of 38-10.

Sophomore Derrick Dunigan started off the first half of the game with two touchdowns for the Bears.

Senior Anfernee Dukes scored a touchdown for the Blue Devils making the score 14-7 in the the second quarter.

Blue Devils senior Sergio Huerta Tirado scored an extra point for the Blue Devils and kicked a three-point field goal, making the score 14-10 in the second quarter.

The Bears came back strong during the second half with three touchdowns to make the final score of 38-10.

Dunigan had 20 carries for 109 yards with senior Thomas Nichols having 11 carries for 83 yards and a two-point conversion.

Nichols had 20 attempts passing for 170 yards, one interception, two touchdowns and three two point conversions.

Senior Jaytarius Steele had three receptions for 77 yards and one touchdown, senior Dalton Davis had three receptions for 27 yards and a two-point conversion and Derek Stoudemire had three receptions for 24 yards.

Dunigan and junior Mason Friday both had 13 tackles, and junior Jacob Caver had seven tackles with a blocked punt for a touchdown.

“We came out and we started off well,” coach Tyson McLean said. “The one thing we really need to work on is consistency. If we are going to make any type of run, we have got to be consistent.”
