Gladys Robinson Hardiman

Gladys Robinson Hardiman, 95, of Clanton died Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Hatley Health Care.

She was born on Thursday, Aug. 21, 1919, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Benny Monroe and Ella Elizabeth Scott Robinson.

She was a textile worker in the Cotton Mill in Clanton.

Surviving are her sister, Catherine Gillespie, and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hardiman; brothers, Grady, Fred and Clarence Robinson; sisters, Annie McCary, Gertie Jones and Willie Mae Robinson.

A special thank you to her caregiver, Tammie Holcombe, Hatley Health Care A-Wing, and Gentiva Hospice.

Friends will be received from 10–11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 4 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
