Barbara Jean Headley Turk, 68, of Clanton, passed away suddenly on Sept. 21 in Clanton.

She was born in Clanton on March 19, 1946, the daughter of the late Houston Cleckler and the late Mattie Jean Cleckler.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by sons, Randall Headley of Clanton, Ronald Headley of Clanton, Rodney Headley of Clanton; daughter, Angie Headley of Clanton; granddaughters, Felisha Smith of Clanton, Brandy Garcia of Clanton, Kacy Smitherman of Clanton; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Christine Roper of Clanton, Janie Brewer of Jemison, Martha Ann Wallace of Jemison, Susan Cooper of Jones, Loraine Gentry of Clanton; and brothers, Robert Cleckler of Clanton, and David Cleckler of Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 3 p.m. from Billingsley Church of God with the Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating.

The body will be in repose one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in Billingsley Church of God Cemetery in Billingsley.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donate toward the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
