Clanton Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who robbed a Clanton business on Sept. 12.

At about 1:20 p.m. on Sept. 12, a black male entered the Check N Go located off Logan Road. The subject demanded cash while armed with what appeared to be a Glock handgun.

After taking the money, the suspect forced the clerk into a back room and took her cell phone to prevent her from notifying authorities.

Clanton Police believe the suspect is connected to robberies in Montgomery and Auburn.

Police said he was wearing the same clothes during the Auburn robbery as he wore last week, including a green T-shirt with yellow undershirt and blue ballcap.
