Martha Patricia (Pat) Wise Moore, 74, of Hoover, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31.

Moore was born, raised, and lived most of her adult life in Clanton, the daughter of the late William Hinton Wise and the late Evelyn Downs Wise.

She was a co-owner of Clanton’s Treasure House, a gift and clothing store and favorite gathering spot for friends and family.

During her retirement years, Moore spent many fun-filled days at their beach home in Perdido Key, Fla.

She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James “Jim” Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Bart Moore (Dede); precious granddaughter, Anne Neal Moore and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, William Bradley Moore (Brad).

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Moore’s life will be held at her church, The Cathedral Church of the Advent, 2017 6th Ave. N., Birmingham, 35203 on Sept. 5 at 1 p.m., followed by a visitation.

In lieu of flowers, Moore’s wishes were for memorial to The Cathedral Church of the Advent, 2017 6th Ave., N. Birmingham, AL 35203 or Clanton Fire United Methodist Church, 207 8th St., N., Clanton, AL 35045.
