Willie Athalie “Hayes” Wilson, passed away at the age of 98 in Dayton, Ohio on Aug. 2.

She was a Sunday school teacher and homemaker who was born in her grandparent’s (Barrett’s) log house in Thorsby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garnie B. Wilson, also of Thorsby.

She is survived by four sons and a brother; Ted and Don Wilson of Miamisburg, Ohio, Jimmie Wilson of Corbin, Ky., Gary Wilson of Lexington, Ga., and William Hayes Contreras of Topsham, Maine.
