Deadline for absentee voting in Primary Run-off is July 10

The deadline for absentee voting in the July 15 Primary Run-off election is July 10.

Individuals who voted absentee in the June 3 Primary Election and have a reason to vote absentee in the run-off election will need to fill out another application for an absentee ballot before July 10.

“If you are going to be out of the county on the date of the election or you are unable to go to the polls, you may come to the Circuit Clerk’s office and vote an absentee ballot,” said Glenn McGriff, who is Chilton County’s Absentee Election Manager. “Or, if you are unable to come by the Clerk’s office you may call and request an application be mailed to you if you do so before July 10.”

The hours are from 8 a.m. until noon and 1-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Circuit Court Clerk’s office is located on the third floor of the Chilton County Courthouse.
