Mr. and Mrs. Barry Alan Pitts of Clanton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Suzanne Pitts, of Montgomery, to William Rogers Trotman of Montgomery.



The groom-elect is the son of Mrs. Terri Trotman and the late Mr. John McNeill Trotman.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Carolyn Klinner Parker of Clanton, the late Mr. Horace Milton Bolton of Mableton, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Washington Pitts of Lithia Springs, Ga.

Pitts is a 2001 graduate of Jemison High School.

She is a 2004 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Alabama, Birmingham, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication.

Pitts received her Juris Doctorate Degree, Cum Laude, in 2009 from Mississippi College, School of Law.

She is an associate at Rushton, Stakely, Johnston, and Garrett, P.A. in Montgomery.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. John McNeill (Bubba) Trotman and the late Mrs. Ellen Rogers Trotman and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Durent Ashmore, all of Montgomery.

Mr. Trotman is a 2001 graduate of Macon East Montgomery Academy.

He also is a 2007 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.

He is employed at Trotman Brothers Cattle LLC in Montgomery.

The wedding will take place June 7 at Jemison First Baptist Church in Jemison with a reception to follow at the Pitts Family Farm.
