Keith and Kim Moore of Verbena are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kala Brittnee, to Chad Edward Langston, son of E.C. and Mona Langston of Clanton.
Moore-Langston
Kala is the granddaughter of Katie Smith and the late Charlie Smith of Verbena, and Lawrence and Lucille Moore of Verbena.
She has one brother, Kipp Moore, of Verbena.
She is a 2006 graduate of Verbena High School.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Troy University in 2010 and is currently working on her Master of Education degree in physical education at the University of West Alabama.
She is currently employed by the Chilton County Board of Education.
Chad is the grandson of William H. and Barbara Buckner of Clanton and the late Ed and Wilodene Langston.
He is a 2001 graduate of Chilton County High School.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from the University of Montevallo in 2007 and a Master of Education degree in exercise physiology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2010.
He is currently employed by the Montgomery Cancer Center.
The wedding ceremony will be held June 21 at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Clanton.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
