Mr. and Mrs. Todd Angerman of Prattville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Dawn, to Thomas Martin Hughes, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Tony Hughes of Clanton.

Ashley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Alexander of Alexander City, and Mr. and Mrs. John Angerman of Hot Springs, Ark.

She is a 2011 graduate of Prattville High School and is continuing her education at Jefferson State Community College.

She is currently employed at Montgomery-Prattville Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.

Thomas is the grandson of Mrs. Cecil Jackson and the late Mr. Jackson of Selma, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ancil Hughes of Cottonwood.

He is a 2008 graduate of Chilton County High School.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Huntingdon College in 2013.

Thomas is currently employed by the Chilton County Board of Education.

The wedding ceremony will be held June 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church in Clanton.
