Two city council meetings scheduled for Monday were cancelled.

The Jemison City Council meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday was cancelled Monday morning.

The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. on June 16.

Thorsby’s Town Council meeting was cancelled when a quorum of the council was not present.

Councilmembers Neil Benson and Nicole Hilyer were present, along with Mayor Jean Nelson, but councilmembers Marvin Crumpton, Randall Higgins and Glenn Littleton were not present.

The next meeting for Thorsby’s Town Council will be at 6 p.m. on June 16.
