Wilbur Farrell Wynn

Wilbur Farrell Wynn, 80, of Marbury, passed away on May 23 at his residence. He was born in Wetumpka on Feb. 6, 1934; the son of the late Iverson Rhett Wynn and the late Kathryn Ledbetter Wynn.
He was the retired owner and operator of Wynn’s Upholstery in Prattville.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a true friend to many.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Hammaker Wynn of Marbury; stepchildren, Shawn Williams, Tara Corley, Donald Hammaker and Alanna Johnson; brothers, Charles Wynn of Prattville, Earl Wynn of Pensacola, Fla., and Winston Wynn of Deatsville; sisters, June Chisum and Catherine Harris of Deatsville and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Iverson Rhett Wynn and Kathryn Ledbetter Wynn; brothers, Wyndell Wynn, Winston Wynn and Billy Wood; sister, Nina Wood Burson and a step-son, Jonathan Edward Moses Williams.
Graveside funeral services were held May 27 at 2 p.m. in Pine View Memorial Gardens in Wetumpka with the Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.
