The 2014 Peach Jam T-shirts have been ordered and will arrive at the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce within the next week.

Three T-shirts were designed and posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page by Brittani Ellison, Chamber Executive Assistant.

The community then had the opportunity to vote for their favorite design. The winning design was determined by the most “likes” that the design pictures received. The T-shirts are blue with a peach and the chamber logo inside of an outline of Alabama.

The T-shirts are priced at $10 and are available in youth small and medium, as well as the following adult sizes: small, medium, large, extra-large, XXL, and XXXL.

Last year, nearly 1,000 shirts were sold. The Chamber is expecting an increase in sales this year since the Peach Jam has more sponsors than it has had in the past and the T-shirts have progressively become more popular each year.

“We mainly want to get sponsor recognition with the shirts,” Ellison said. “The color blue will suit both men and women, plus it is a light color ideal for summer.”

They will be sold in the Chamber of Commerce building, located at 500 Fifth Ave. N, as well as at the Peach Jam.

The Peach Jam will take place on Friday, June 27 from 5-11 p.m. at Clanton City Park. It will feature Southern Pride, Valley Road Bluegrass and Elevate, a local praise band.

“Since there is no admission charge, the shirts help with funds for the event,” Ellison said.
