Sonny (Clarence) Barnett Jr., of Calera, passed away April 21 at the age of 75. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958-1962, Airman 2nd Class, Strategic Air Command.

Barnett was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.H. Barnett Sr. and Aileen Barnett; sisters, Sue Barnett, Jean Smith and Ann Winterbottom.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Oline Barnett; son, Mike Barnett; daughter, Sandy Roberson (Steve); grandchildren, Jason Roberson (Crystal) and Jamie Benson (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Jagger, Amelia and Aliyah and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held April 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo.

The funeral service will be held April 23 at 1 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Calera.

Burial will follow at Rocky Mountain Cemetery in Jemison.

Bro. Joe Raines and Bro. James Simpson will officiate the service.

Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo will direct services.
