Betty Shaneyfelt Greene

Betty Shaneyfelt Greene, of Thorsby, born on Nov. 11, 1932, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 11 at the age of 81.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Van T. Greene; parents, Frank James Shaneyfelt and Lera Bell Shaneyfelt; sisters, Claudia Watson and Olene Popwell.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Moseley and Beth Dansby (George); son, Tom Greene; granddaughters, Darcy Moseley, Lauren Greene, Caitlin Greene; grandsons, Noel Moseley and Dylan Greene; great-granddaughter, Lexie Greene; sister, Sue Popwell; brothers, James Shaneyfelt and Franklin Shaneyfelt.

Visitation will be April 14 from 1-2 p.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church.

Services will be April 14 at 2 p.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Von McQueen and the Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Thorsby, to the Love Works Program.
