Connie Mack Easterling, 65, of Thorsby, passed away on Jan. 26 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born in Chilton County on Oct. 30, 1948, the son of the late Willie Easterling and the late Dorothy Powell Easterling.

He was a former housekeeping and maintenance employee at Chilton Medical Center.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Easterling Moates of Thorsby; daughter, Debra Franklin (Randall); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a brother, Roger Easterling of Opelika.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Collins Easterling.

Visitation was held Jan. 30 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Collins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.

The family requests no flowers, but encourage donations to the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
