Michael Rhea Davis

Michael Rhea Davis, 44, of Clanton, passed away on Jan. 15 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. He was born in Chilton County on May 12, 1969, the son of the late Horace Davis and Tonjia Chewning Davis.
He was a former truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Tabatha Davis of Clanton; daughter, Brenda Davis of Clanton; daughter, Mikala Davis of Clanton; mother, Tonjia Davis of Fort Smith, Ark.; brother, Waylon Davis of Arkansas; brother, Randy Davis of Arkansas; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Horace Davis.
Funeral services were held Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. David Farris and the Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.
Burial followed in the Mt. Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made toward the funeral expense at the funeral home.
