The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from Dec. 14-Jan. 10:
Dec. 14
•Domestic incident: Sheppard Hill Road
Dec. 16
•A report was made for a car striking some type of animal on U.S. Highway 82 and the County Road 10 area (no injuries, moderate vehicle damage)
Dec. 17
•An arrest report was made for a male that was stopped by Bibb County deputies and was found to have a warrant with Maplesville for driving with a suspended license.
Dec. 18
•Domestic incident
Dec. 21
•After a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 82 and the Alabama Highway 22 interchange, an arrest was made for an alcohol incident
•Public intoxication arrest: Alabama Highway 22 and Reed St. area
•Male was picked up at the Dallas/Chilton line for a failure to display proof of insurance, warrant with Maplesville
Dec. 23
•Burglary and theft of property was reported from the Shadyside area of Maplesville. The house had been foreclosed on and the suspects had stripped the copper from the wall.
Dec. 30
•A report was made for theft from an automobile that had broken down on Alabama Highway 22.
Jan. 1
•An arrest was made after a traffic stop in which marijuana and pills were found: U.S. Highway 82 and County Road 10.
Jan. 9
•A report was made on a natural death: Magnolia Drive
