Our precious mother, Merrell Emma Gentry Wilson, left us to be reunited with her Saviour as well as her husband Curtis Wilson; son, Ronnie Wilson; daughter, Gayle Wilson Langston; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter on Dec. 28, surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter.

She is survived by her son, Darwyn Wilson (Joyce); daughter, June Wilson Wright; brother, Winston Gentry (Geneva); eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Don Rickert, Linda Bright and Comfort Care Hospice. The family will receive friends Dec. 31 at Thompson’s Chapel Church at 8:30-10:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
