Henry Grady “Sweetpea” Jackson, 84, of Billingsley, passed away Dec. 19.

He was born on June 26, 1929, in Alabama, the son of the late Andrew Crawford Jackson and the late Winnie Smith Crawford.

He was a machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Jackson of Billingsley; daughters, Jeanice Johnson (Charlie) of Maplesville, Rita Mott (Mark) of Valley Grande; grandchildren, Amanda Harrison (Noel), Tim Johnson, Ryan Johnson (Kim), Kristen Salter (Matt), Justin Mott (Veronica), Jacob Mott; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Gray.

He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Grady Jackson.

Friends will be received from noon-1 p.m. Dec. 21 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Roe officiating.

Interment will follow in New Cedron in Billingsley.
