Haden “Bobby” Franklin Nesbitt, 69, of Maplesville died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013.

He was born on Monday, Dec. 27, 1943, in Arab, son of the late Wonders Jarvis Lands and the late Louise Jackson Lands.

He was a truck driver for 35 years and member of Pleasant Grove No. 2 Church.

Surviving are his wife, Jackie Nesbitt of Maplesville; son, Michael Nesbitt of Maplesville; daughters, Rebecca (Waylon) McDaniel of Maplesville, Dyrenda Cooper of Florida and Joyce (Richard) Hilburn of Jemison; sister, Evelyn Burl Pierson of Millbrook; eight grandchildren, Leslie, Matthew, Crystal, Ethan, Cameron, Josh, Heather and Brantley; great-grandchild, Aniyah; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wonders Jarvis and Louise Jackson Lands; and sisters, Mary and Betty.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist No. 2 Church with the Rev. Robert Gibson and the Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist No. 2 Cemetery, Maplesville.
