Martha Sue Gibson Moten, 58, of Plantersville, passed away on Oct. 31 at her home.

She was born on May 6, 1955, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Melvin Gibson and the late Viola Noah Gibson.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Arthur Moten of Plantersville; daughter, Connie Moten of Autaugaville; brother, Billy Gibson (Dorothy) of Pelly City and nephews, Tim Hayes (Selena) of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Viola Gibson; brothers, Joe Gibson and Robert Gibson and sisters, Dorothy Gibson, Carolyn Gibson and Christina Hayes.

Visitation will be held Nov. 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held Nov. 4 at noon from the Memorial Chapel at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Shane D. Ogle officiating.

Burial will follow in the Temple Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
