Peggy Davis Stinson, 67, of Jemison, passed away on Oct. 26 at her residence.

She was born in Chilton County on Nov. 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Thurmon A. Davis and the late Effie Mae Turner Davis.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Michael Robinson (Sherry) of Marbury; daughter, Teresa Voyles (B.J.) of Jemison; grandchildren, Chad Robinson, Cole Robinson, Summer Voyles and Kaitlyn Voyles; sister, Louise Price of Thorsby; brother, Tommy Joe Davis (Sharon) of Montgomery and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, along with her brother, Charles Davis.

Visitation will be held Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. John Pullen and the Rev. Joey Byrd officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison.
