Douglas Glenn Beach

Douglas Glenn Beach, 66, of Jemison, passed away on Oct. 3 at his residence.
He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on Jan. 3, 1947, the son of the late William Edward Beach and the late Betty Jean Grant Beach.
He worked for the United States Government.
He also served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his daughter, Misty Dawn Beach Finley of Springville; daughter, Tonyeka Michelle Glass of Jemison; daughter, Dakota Lynn Beach of Anderson, S.C.; grandchildren, Kyle Glenn Finley, Zachary Finley, Courtney Finley, Johnna Glass, Joshua Glass and Madelynn Stokes; brother, Jerry Beach of Hugo, Okla., along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Chaplain Willie E. Smith, MM officiating.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
A military graveside service will be held on Oct. 7 at 12:30 p.m. in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made toward the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
